Bogged 4WD on the Beach

Can I reach you?

Beach recoveries depend on track access, the sand and the tide. With a photo and a location pin, I can tell you before I set off whether it is a job for me, so you are not left waiting for a truck that cannot get to you.

I cover the Lakes Entrance beach tracks, Lake Tyers Beach and the eastern end of the Ninety Mile Beach, as well as forestry tracks and paddocks inland.

FAQ

Common questions

Can't see your question? Call me and ask. I answer my own phone.

Call 0424 966 333
  • Should I let my tyres down?

Lowering tyre pressure can help on sand if you have a way to reinflate them. If you are already dug in, stop and call before you make it worse.

  • What if the tide is coming in?

Your safety comes first. Get everyone above the high tide line, and call 000 if anyone is at risk.

  • Can you always reach a vehicle on the beach?

No. Some tracks are too soft or too narrow for a recovery truck. Send a photo first and I will tell you straight.
